It’s not the first time wrestling comes into UAE. The action of WWE Live was as thrilling as ever at Zayed Sports City in October, as well. The headline bout featured Daniel Bryan, Big Show, The Miz and Dolph Ziggler vs Randy Orton and The Shield. The arena was busy both on Thursday and Friday night during the second showing, as fans came out in their droves to watch their favourite wrestling stars battle it out in the ring.
The matches differed slightly from those on Thursday, but involved the same wrestlers.
WWE, also known as World Wrestling Entertainment, is the recognized leader in global sports-entertainment, featuring the unrivaled Superstars of the ring including John Cena, Randy Orton, The Rock, and more. WWE is an American publicly traded, privately controlled entertainment company that deals primarily in professional wrestling, with major revenue sources also coming from film, music, product licensing, and direct product sales. WWE’s shows do not feature legitimate sporting contests: its programs feature storyline-driven combat sport matches with predetermined outcomes and fighting maneuvers that are worked, all promoted as legitimate bouts.
For example during the opening press conference of the first tour of the WWE in the Middle East, in 2012, the company has staged a very old-school scene. The press conference was interrupted by Kane who attacked John Cena and with whom he began to struggle. The leader of the Cenation has managed to turn the situation soon end up doing Kane through a table.
