The 8th Annual UAE Cancer Congress Promoting Excellence in Oncology—a branch of medicine that deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer—is coming to Dubai. According to the official website, this event “will bring together international and regional faculty experts to cover surgical, radiation and medical oncology related topics on cancer management.”
UAE Cancer Congress 2016 is organized by Breast Surgery International. Top surgeons in the field will be at the Breast Session on 20 Oct 2016 (Day 1) and the Breast Surgical Workshop on 22 Oct 2016 (Day 3).
Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) are also supporting the UAE Cancer Congress 2016; the annual event promises to gather oncologists who will discuss and share information on the latest scientific developments and research in cancer, as well as care management of patients with cancer. Those who attend will benefit from opportunities to network, connect and exchange with the leading experts in cancer treatment and overall management.
American Hospital Dubai, a regional center of excellence for oncology, is also one of the main partner of Cancer Congress 2016; they will foster cancer talks and in-service sessions from the oncology team and incorporate the Go Pink for the Cure logo to help raise awareness for breast cancer. Activities to “Go Pink this October!” aim to Celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
