The Big Five Show 2014, the regional construction exhibition opened today week in Dubai. In its 35th edition, the exhibition runs from November 17 to 20 at Dubai World Trade Centre with more than 2,700 exhibitors from 60 countries. The show has been serving as a networking platform for construction product suppliers and buyers since 1979. Last year involved participation of 2747 exhibitors from 57 countries, 74,854 participants from 124 countries, 684 Platinum Club members, 148 free educational events.
Huge Italian participation in this edition, with more than 400 companies attending the event, underlining the strong connection between these two countries, also linked by the upcoming Expos.
The Dubai Government has announced and resumed a series of multibillion projects including the Dh25 billion Mall of the World project and the Dh32 billion expansion of Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central (DWC).
The floorplan is divided by product sectors. Further, visitors can have access to free certified workshops and training courses offering continued professional development.
Among the visitors most likely to attend the show are CEOs, Chairman, Presidents, Directors, Engineers, Architects, Managers, Consultants, Interior Designers, people working in various streams of real estate sector, Contract Managers and Quantity Surveyors.
