The UIM XCAT World Series is set to scale new heights. That’s after organising body of the Series, the Dubai-based World Professional Powerboating Association (WPPA) announced a partnership with global property developer, Emaar Properties PJSC.
The new deal, which was celebrated in spectacular fashion today at Emaar’s flagship mega-development Downtown Dubai, billed as ‘The Centre of Now,’ anchored by Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building – sees Emaar coming on board as Main Sponsor of the Series for an initial three years.
It is a great pleasure to welcome Emaar into the XCAT family; theirs is a name that is synonymous with excellence and impressive achievement, not only in the UAE but globally. And we feel this is a fantastic match with the UIM XCAT World Series, where the teams strive for dominance on the world stage. We look forward to a long and productive partnership.
said WPPA Vice President Dr Khalid Al Zahed.
Mr Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Managing Director, Emaar Properties, said:
Since its inception, Emaar Properties has been supporting Dubai’s repertoire of world-class events, underlining the city’s positioning as the ultimate events destination. We are delighted to extend our support to the UIM XCAT World Series.
