The 16th Dubai Summer Surprises (the summer shopping festival) features 100 different shows and activities, plus huge prizes and discounts all over Dubai.
But because it happens every year, Dubai Summer Surprises has become tradition, rather than ‘surprise’.
Shopping rewards include raffles to win five Nissan Patrol cars (tickets available at EPPCO and ENOC petrol stations, metro stations and selected malls), the chance to win 150,000 Dirham in cash each week (spending more than 200 Dirham at selected malls), plus other cash prizes totalling 3 million DIrham.

Kids will be able to enjoy citywide entertainment at Dubai’s malls: World of Stories at Mercato, Kids’ Fashion Week at Deira City Centre, an Ice Age Adventure Camp at Mall of the Emirates, Hello Kitty ‘KaraokeKitty’ TV show at Dubai Festival City and many others.
Now in its 16th year, the Dubai Summer Surprises shopping festival promises bargains across malls, spas, restaurants and beyond, with this year’s month-long event starting on Thursday June 14.
Dubai’s restaurant scene continues to grow in summer
It’s a revelation that so many new eateries are scheduled to open over the next few months: Jumeirah Lake Towers alone can expect the launch of Chinese restaurant Homey’s in Gold Crest Views and Brazilian patisserie Sweet Brasil in Al Seef Tower 2. There are also several impending openings in the new Claren Tower in Downtown, including Japanese spot Toki and another Burgerfuel outlet.
