Dubai Airshow Set to be Bigger and Better

Get ready for the imminent opening of the 14th Dubai Airshow, which has long been recognized as an essential event on the international aerospace calendar.

Opening Ceremony: on Sunday the 8th at 10:30am

Opening Times: 1000am – 1730pm, from Sunday to Thursday (November 8 to 11)

The Dubai Airshow is the largest and most important aerospace event in the region. So, visitors will be able to see the flying display and the newest changes in the aviation industry, innovations and products both available now and in development.

This biennial event is an exhibition displaying the latest and greatest in military, general and commercial aviation. The Return of Dubai Airshow brings together trade delegations and many exhibitors from all over the word. This year it will be held at a new venue, the Dubai World Central (DWC)—the future site of the World Expo in 2020.

The sky is the limit for the Dubai Airshow 2015, as it “promises a larger exhibition area, new industry sector displays and increased trade visitor numbers,” the organizers said. Visitors will be able to see over 130 planes put on show.

According to Michele van Akelijen, Managing Director of show organizers F&E Aerospace, “The 2015 Dubai Airshow is expected to be our biggest event yet.” The scene will feature new exhibitors in the aerospace industry with static and flying displays, and a number of dedicated country pavilions, including Italy and the Gulf Aviation Training Event (GATE) pavilion within the Dubai Airshow on the show floor.

Some of this year exhibitors include Aerolux (UK), Alsalam Aircraft (Saudi Arabia), Gulf Aviation Academy (Bahrain) and Lockheed Martin (USA).

In addition, the official partner, 3D Printshow, will occupy a section in the Dubai Airshow exhibition hall where it will demonstrate what kind of effect it is having on the aerospace industry.

This is a must-attend event with key buyers and decision makers that have access to the Middle East aerospace market, one of the fastest growing aerospace regions in the world; Dubai is its hub.

The Dubai Airshow Flying display will be from 2:00pm every day; planes take to the skies in the city’s annual airshow. The spectacular flying display will involve some of the world’s best pilots. The Italian aerobatic team Frecce Tricolori will be flying at the Dubai Airshow this year too.

(Note: The public can watch the flying display from SKYVIEW – a purpose-built grandstand arena. Ticket prices: Adults: AED80 | Kids: AED50. The tickets are on sale now at ticket-line.ae/. Be aware that the Skyview ticket will not give you access to the exhibition halls or to the static aircraft.)
