Clash of Champions 2015 Inflight Dubai: and the winner is…

Held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the $200,000 Clash of Champions has attracted the world’s best skydivers with the UAE-based flyers holding their own against the cream of the sport. The competition was held over 3 days: 26-28 November at the Inflight Dubai (located on the Dubai-Al Ain Road). With one extra day given to the teams to test the tunnel and setup the speed for the competition.

In the masterclass, the AAA 8-Way Formation Skydiving, as expected it is America’s multi-world championship winning United States Army Parachute Team, nicknamed and commonly known as the Golden Knights. The team won $25,000 but – being an army team – they cannot get any prize from competition, so they decided to give the whole prize in charity.

The talented brother and sister combination of Noah and Kayleigh Wittenburg – aged just nine and eleven years-old respectively – stormed ahead of their 19 rival teams in the Dynamic 2-Way Class. Competing as Mini Maktoum, the youngsters have delighted the spectators and stunned their older rivals with some breathtaking routines that have pushed them to the top of the leaderboard.

Information about the whole results, can be found on and on the ClashOfChampions: Official page of the event.
